Jarvis team take on the Valleys Xtreme with Jono Richardson taking the win!
Last weekend saw the Jarvis Racing team compete in two-day competition at magnificent Walters Arena in South Wales. With Grant Churchward supporting the guy's riding, the hot Yorkshire duo of Jono Richardson and Sam Winterburn competed in the two-day competition which included a lite and qualification race on Saturday the 29th of January and an AM and PM Xtreme Enduro Race on Sunday 30th of January.
With 160 riders competing, this is one of the most popular events, attracting Enduro enthusiasts from across the UK and a few overseas competitors too. Both Sam and Jono competed in the 3-hour PM Xtreme Enduro Race on Sunday with Sam finishing 10th and Jono smashing it with a dominant 1st place. An outstanding performance from the start, Jono dominated the whole race

While Graham, Jono, Mitch and Roger were at the FIM World round in Spain, Jarvis Racing was also competing in the 38th annual Weston Beach Race across the Riven Severn estuary in England.
A firm fan favourite, the Weston-super-mare Beach Race is a huge spectator draw with nearly nearly 1000 riders competing flat out across the sand.
Number 21 - Sam Winterburn led the charge on his Husqvarna FE350 with a fantastic P12 overall!
Great ride Sam and special thanks to Grant, Jess and Nathan and the rest of the Jarvis Racing team for a fantastic weekend.
I think you need a soak in the bath after that!

It's great to be back in the scenic Aguilar de Campoo for the next round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.
Team Pro Jono Richardson was on top form, coming in 8th overall in the feature 2.5 hr race on Sunday - Jono was the top non-Pro Factory rider.
Jono was joined by 18-year-old British teenage sensation Mitch Brightmore who has been making waves in the UK championship and certainly showed what he was capable of with an excellent 18th overall on Sunday.
Great riding and good to be back amongst the fans again.

Well a day in the hospital and the MRI scan is as feared. Damaged ACL.... I’m going to hopefully get it done back in Spain next week if all goes to plan but that has pretty much wrecked my race year and schedule. I’ll keep you all updated on my plans and progress. Thank you for the thousands of kind messages of support, it really helps right now. Hope to see you soon. Graham

So today we had a tricky start, I got lost in the low morning mist/fog, taking a wrong turn which lost me a few minutes. I then hit a ditch and banged my leg....
After that early drama, I managed to find a bit of rhythm and picked up the pace. The conditions were really mixed throughout the day, some really slippery grass and some dry sections too. Fortunately, the Gold riders missed some of the rain which made some of the descents really tricky for the Silver class riders later on in the afternoon.
Overall I'm chuffed with the P1 today as you can imagine and with a small gap to Mani and Wade but this is just Day 1 so we've got 3 more days of this and you can expect anything to happen. I'm off to get a bit of rest now as I'm sure the overnight in the tent tomorrow won't be as comfortable as the apartment!
Looking forward to a great day tomorrow!
Graham
PS.
Thanks to all photographers especially

Jarvis Husqvarna Racing's Jono Richardson consoled himself not being in Romania this week with an impressive winning performance this weekend at The Summit Extreme Enduro event in North Yorkshire, UK Richardson's Pro level skills were put to the test over what was billed by race organisers as the toughest UK extreme event! Jono commented 'I'm sad not be able to get to Romania this year but I'm glad there have been new exciting events added in the UK so I can still keep focussed on competing and winning in the toughest terrain'

Sibiu, Romania Friday 23 July 2021
Last time we were here in Sibiu, I got so close to the win, a little mistake on the last day and Mani pipped me.... So far this year, I’m really pleased with the two podium finishes but Billy is on fire so he's going to be hard to beat. With Mani looking to get back to back wins here and also in good form the competition has never been stronger. I expect Jonny and the Sherco boys to come back fighting too...
However, I've been riding well and I'm totally prepared to compete for that record breaking 7th win. Romaniacs over 5 days gives me time to show those youngsters I've lost nothing!
If it isn't me then I'll be cheering for #23 Teodor Kabakchiev as my pick for a top 5 and Grant Churchward to keep up the great performances. I am biased of course as they are riding for Jarvis Husqvarna Racing!!
It's now the 18th Edition of Red Bull Romaniacs, I've come here directly from Abestone t

We're all set for the exciting 3rd Round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship at Abestone in the mountains of Tuscany Graham will join Billy Bolt and Alfredo Gomez in the Rockstar Husqvarna Factory lineup with the terrain perfectly suited to Graham's smooth technical riding style.
Unfortunately, most of the Jarvis Husqvarna Racing team – Will Hoare, Jono Richardson and Sam Winterburn – will not be there due to the covid restrictions from the UK.Teodor Kabakchiev will be there though. Having done more racing hours this year than virtually any rider in the series, fresh off his win last weekend in Romania, he could surprise a few of the big-name factory riders!!
Day 1 Test Update.
P1. Billy P2. Mani P3. Jarv1sDay 2. Qualifying
A tight contest today with Billy topping the time sheet from Mani again. Special Test 2 saw Jarv1s in 7th and Teo in 8th, setting them both up for potential Top 5 finishes in tomorrow's big race!
