About This Tour

As the name implies, “Chaves” is the “Keys” to Portugal. The most northern area and entrance to Portugal from the mountainous region of Galiza, Northern Spain. The riding here is beyond words. A land where giants have piled huge rocks to make incredible scenes. The steep hills allow even climbs in forest single tracks to be taken at high speed. Kilometres of ancient riverbeds, and stone steps that form endless pathways to the top of mountains with breath-taking views.

The tours take place in spring, summer and autumn. The area can be ridden by any level of rider but this truly is a place to visit for the hard Enduro rider who wants to practice their riding on the best trials.

You will fly into Porto airport where we arrange transport for you to our chosen residence, 'Hotel Rural Casa de Samaiões'. You will have both breakfast and evening meals there (wine included). Lunch is provided on riding days by your guide at one of the local venues selected for authenticity and quality.
